PURPOSE: To provide the method for producing an Ni-Zn alloy. ;CONSTITUTION: This is the method for producing an Ni-Zn alloy in which, in the method ?or producing a 2 to 50wt.%. Ni-Zn alloy, an Ni-Zn alloy is melted by using a molten salt forming agent with ≤750°C m.p. constituted of alkali metal chlorides and alkali metal borates as flux. As the molten salt forming agent, the one constituted of (1) 10 to 40wt.% alkali metal chlorides constituted of 10 to 40wt.% NaCl, and the balance KCI and (2) the balance Na2B4O7 is preferably used.
