PURPOSE: To provide a system which maintains a terry cloth at a constant terry height during the reverse movement of a terry loom. ;CONSTITUTION: This system comprises a proximity sensor 28 which is a proximity sensor 28 existing at a prescribed distance 26 on the same side as the size of a loading spring 24 from a floating roller 21 and is so connected as to cause the stoppage of an electric motor 16 of the feed beam 1 for terry warp yarns previously driven in an advance direction by an electric control center 17 and to reverse the motion of the electric motor 16 for the purpose of the reverse movement right thereafter.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
