METHOD FOR STONE-WASHED FINISH OF WOVEN OR KNIT FABRIC COMPOSED OF SILK AND REGENERATED CELLULOSIC FIBER

PURPOSE: To obtain a method for stone-washed finishing having an entirely new appearance of a napped state and uniform wrinkles without causing any pilling and unevenness of a rubbed shape and impairing the soft touch of a woven or a knit fabric itself composed of silk and regenerated cellulosic fiber. ;CONSTITUTION: A woven or a knit fabric composed of silk and regenerated fiber is scoured with an olive soap, then subjected to the weight reduction with a proteolytic enzyme and a cellulolytic enzyme in a jet dyeing machine and further subjected to the weight reduction with the proteolytic enzyme and the cellulolytic enzyme in a washer. A softening agent is subsequently applied to the resultant fabric, which is then dried in a tumbler dryer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
