PURPOSE: To reduce concentration of hydrogen sulfide by perfectly mixing hydrogen sulfide with air so that generation of offensive odor is prevented. ;CONSTITUTION: This is a hydrogen sulfide diffusing device in a geothermal power plant in which a turbine is rotated by steam jetted from underground to generate power, the steam having passed the turbine is cooled by a condenser 4 for condensation and hydrogen sulfide contained in the steam is diluted less than a predetermined concentration to be emitted and diffused into the air. A hydrogen sulfide introduction pipe 14 is provided for introducing hydrogen sulfide into a cooling tower 8 for air-cooling a cooling water having used in the condenser, and a plurality of nozzles 29 facing an air discharge port of the cooling tower are provided at the tip end of this hydrogen sulfide introduction pipe along the circumferential direction of the air discharge port with an interval.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
