摘要

PURPOSE:An acaricide, containing dichloroacetic acid as an active ingredient and having improved acaricidal effect of Pyemotes ventricosus Newport of silkworm and excellent safety for larval silkworm. CONSTITUTION:An acaricide for silkworm containing dichloroacetic acid as an active ingredient. The above-mentioned acaricide is normally used as an aqueous solution and the concentration of the solution used is preferably 0.3-2.5% from the viewpoint of acaricidal effect and safety. Since the acaricide is effective against Pyemotes ventricosus Newport damaging silkworm without adversely affecting the character of larval silkworm even by directly spraying on the silkworm bodies and silkworm seats, direct spraying thereon can be carried out. Previous spraying on the silkworm rooms or silkworm tools before raising is also effective in removing infestation sources of the Pyemotes ventricosus Newport.
