REPAIRING METHOD BY BUILD UP WELDING OF METALLIC MEMBER, REPAIRED METALLIC MEMBER BY THE METHOD AND REPAIRING EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE: To provide a repairing method by build-up welding of a metallic member where the repair by build-up welding can be executed in the condition when a work is mounted on a repairing equipment, and the labor and cost for the repair can be remarkably reduced, the metallic member repaired by the repairing method and the repairing equipment. ;CONSTITUTION: An electrode material is I,H build-up for the repair on the surface of a metallic member W to be repaired in the atmosphere of the inert gas shield by the spark discharge. The repairing equipment consists of a control device 1 where the power source for commercial use and the inert gas B are introduced, and a pulse voltage output terminal 11, a grounding terminal 12 and an introducing port of the inert gas are provided, a grounding cable 13 which is the connection part to the metallic member to be repaired, the lead wire 21 for the pulse voltage and a hose 22 for the inert gas, and an electrode rotating applicator 3 having a motor which is mounted inside a housing 31, an output shaft connected to the lead wire, a chuck to hold the electrode, and a cover cylinder 5 where the inert gas is introduced inside from the other end of the hose.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
