PRINT-DYEING INK FOR INK JETTING AND INK JET PRINT-DYEING PROCESS USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: To produce the subject ink which contains polybasic carboxylic acids, thus is useful for printing woven or nonwoven fabrics made of cellulose or polyamide fibers because of its brightness, high concentration properties, high storage stability, jetting stability and nozzle clogging prevention. ;CONSTITUTION: This print-dyeing ink contains dicarboxylic acids such as malonic and succinic acid or their alkali metal salts, reactive dyes and aqueous media. The ink preferably contains dicarboxylic or tricarboxylic acid or their alkali metal salts in an amount of 0.01 to 10wt.% of the total ink weight. The ink is applied to cloth containing cellulose fibers or polyamide fibers preferably by the ink jet printing method, fixed, rinsed to remove the unreacting dye for dyeing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
