PURPOSE: To enable improving the rough estimation of the characteristics of a material sample by applying a correlation between the directly measured characteristics of the representative set of the sample of the material and the infrared spectrum of the material. ;CONSTITUTION: To create the increasing calibration set of a spectrum, permeability shift, wavelength shift, absorbance baseline shift and the warp of the spectrum of absorbance baseline inclination are artificially introduced to the set of the infrared spectrum obtained regarding the representable sample of the material to be measured. The warp of the spectrum of the introduced one type is self-compensated by the correlation confirmed between the increased set of the spectrum and the directly measured physical characteristics of the sample. The correlation is applied to the infrared spectrum regarding the sample during consideration to confirm the physical characteristics of the sample. At the time of starting from the calibration set having small spectrum, to create the increased calibration set of the spectrum, it is suitable to duplicate the spectral many times.
