PURPOSE: To provide a new method by which the distribution of a DNA-binding protein in a tissue or cell can be easily examined in situ by using the DNA- avidity of the protein itself and, at the same time to provide a probe for detecting or measuring a DNA-binding protein used for the method. ;CONSTITUTION: In this method, a DNA-binding protein is detected or measured by bringing a nucleotide chain containing a basic sequence which is specifically linked with the DNA-binding protein into contact with the DNA-binding protein and detecting or measuring the amount of the probe linked with the DNA- binding protein in situ.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
