CALIBRATING APPARATUS OF VISIBLE NEAR INFRARED RADIOMETER

摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain a calibrating apparatus for a visible near infrared radiometer which can bring the known spectral radiance into the visible near infrared radiometer even in vacuum so as to measure the performance of the visible near infrared radiometer. ;CONSTITUTION: The calibrating apparatus consists of a reference light source 2 the spectral radiance of which is already known and a calibrating light source 6. The calibrating light source 6 obtains the absolute value of the spectral radiance thereof from an output of a detector of a visible near infrared radiometer and an output 11 of the detector generated when a calibrating light 8 having a different spectral radiance enters the detector, and emits the calibrating light 8 the spectral radiance of which is accordingly known. Therefore, the performance of a visible near infrared radiometer 1 can be tested even in vacuum with the use of the calibrating light source 6 generating the calibrating light 8 of the known spectral radiance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
