PURPOSE: To obtain a highly accurate, inexpensive, and easy method for analyzing vanadium pentoxide in vanadium trioxide. ;CONSTITUTION: When the title method is used for analyzing vanadium pentoxide in vanadium trioxide, a vanadium trioxide sample is dissolved in a hydrochloric acid solution and the quantity of vanadium dissolved in the solution is measured.
