PURPOSE: To readily obtain a purified poly(A)+RNA required for a reverse polymerase chain reactional(PCR) method using an RNA or the preparation of a cDNA at a high rate. ;CONSTITUTION: This apparatus for purifying an mRNA from the total RNA is equipped with containers (11 and 12) for respectively containing an eluting buffer solution and a binding buffer solution therein, a container (41) for containing a reagent containing an RNA to be purified, a cellulosic column (35) for purifying the total RNA, transporting means (31 and 32) for transporting the solution contained in one of the respective containers selected by solenoid valves to the cellulosic column (35), a temperature regulating means (33) for heating the solution fed to the cellulosic column (35) to about 80°C, a temperature regulating means (34) for keeping the atmospheric temperature of the cellulosic column at about 25°C, a temperature regulating means for keeping the container (41) for containing the reagent containing the RNA therein at about 4°C and a controlling means (computer) (50) for controlling the transporting means, temperature regulating means and solenoid valves according to the predetermined procedures.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
