PLATE JOINING METHOD FOR STEEL SHIP

PURPOSE: To provide a plate joining method for shortening a term of work and reducing a cost of construction by eliminating necessity for joining a floor by butt welding and filling work of a cut in a floor joining part. ;CONSTITUTION: In a structure formed of a ship bottom shell plate 1, inner bottom plate 2 and a floor 5, a plate joining position is set to a position where a ship bottom longitudinal 3 and an inner bottom longitudinal 4 are opposed in a vertical direction between the ship bottom shell plate 1 and the inner bottom plate 2. Further, scallop cut parts 7 for use of the inner bottom longitudinal 4 and the ship bottom longitudinal 3 are provided in upper/lower ends of a joining part 8 of the one floor 5, the floor 5 is vertically provided between the ship bottom shell plate 1 and the inner bottom plate 2, a backing steel plate 6 is brought into contact orthogonal to the joining part 8 of the floor 5 between the ship bottom longitudinal 3 and the inner bottom longitudinal 4, and the joining part 8 of the one floor 5 is welded to come into contact with a joining part 10 of the other floor 9 by interposing the backing steel plate 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
