PORTABLE ELECTRONIC UNIT AND POSITION INDICATOR USED IN POSITION DETECTION DEVICE

PURPOSE: To input data without damaging operability at the time of inputting mass data consisting of the number of multiple digits by providing a protection cover and arranging a position indicator consisting of a touch switch form. ;CONSTITUTION: The protection cover 4 consists of the soft member of rubber, and it is engaged and fixed to a hook part 12 formed on a main body part 2. Conductive rubber sheets having protection parts 14a in positions corresponding to the respective switch parts are adhered to the back of the plural switch parts 13 which are shaped in projecting shapes in the protection cover 4. When an operator depresses the switches 13 in the direction of an arrow 16, the projection parts 14 are brought into contact with a panel part 5a and they are conducted with a main body circuit part by a conductor 15. Furthermore, the pen type position indicator 3 is conducted with the main body circuit part through a conductor 6 by making a pen tip 3a touch the surface of the panel part 5a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
