PURPOSE: To prevent internal vibration by a spindle from affecting the rotation of a disk by determining the rigidity characteristics and the arrangement position of vibration cutting mount members so as not to cause a rotary motion in a disk device. ;CONSTITUTION: The rigidity characteristics and the arrangement position of a vibration cutting mount members 28A, 28B, 28C supporting a disk device 10 are determined so as not to cause the rotary motion of the disk device at the rotational frequency of a spindle 26. In addition, in the case where the rotary motion of the spindle 26 generates a translational force and a rotational force, the mount members 28A-28C are arranged so that the resultant moment of all these forces becomes zero around the center of gravity 30 of the disk device. Incidentally, the mount members 28A-28C may be isotropic members, or the plural mount members may each have different rigidity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
