PURPOSE:To enhance heat transfer or absorption performance by reducing a depth of a recess smaller than a diameter of the recess in a heat transfer wall having a plurality of recesses on a wall to be frequently used for a liquid trickle film type heat CONSTITUTION:A depth hd of each recess 20 is formed smaller than a recess diameter Dd in a heat transfer wall formed with the recesses 20 on a surface to reduce a liquid trickle film and to simultaneously increase a solution surface area. In order to facilitate processing, if the surface of the wall is a two-dimensional plane, the recesses 20 are formed at a plurality of straight lines or curves, or if the surface of the wall is a three-dimensional surface, the recesses 20 are provided intermittently at a predetermined or regularly variable interval along a plurality of straight lines parallel to or perpendicular to one stripe or a plurality of stripes of spiral curves or a tube axis. Further, an area of a smooth surface 21A between the recesses 20 on the wall is set to 50% or less of an entire plane area when the recesses 20 are not formed.
