PURPOSE: To improve the dispersion of short fibers and prevent the inhibition of foaming function by dividing a composition into a number of groups and kneading them. ;CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition excluding short fibers, a foaming agent, a process oil, a vulcanizing agent and a vulcanization accelerator is kneaded to give a first-stage kneaded composition. This composition is kneaded with short fibers and a process oil to give a second-stage kneaded composition, which is then kneaded with a master batch consisting of a foaming agent and a rubber matrix, a vulcanizing agent and a vulcanization accelerator.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
