PURPOSE: To provide the catalyst soln. for selective electroless nickel plating which is long in life and is efficient by incorporating a water-soluble palladium salt, inorg. salt, ammonium chloride and glycine. ;CONSTITUTION: This catalyst treatment soln. contains 1.0×10-3 to 1.5×10-3mol/l water-soluble palladium salt and inorg. salt of hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, etc., having a pH range of 2.1 to 2.4, 0.7 to 1.2mol/l range-ammonium chloride and 0.5 to 0.8mol/l glycine.
