COIL OVERTURN PREVENTING DEVICE IN COIL CAR

PURPOSE: To provide a coil overturn preventing device in a coil car, which can clamp even different radius coils by a clamping member certainly. ;CONSTITUTION: A lifter 17 loaded with plural narrow width coils 15 slitted in several lines thereon and moves up and down, is set up on a traveling carriage 7. One pair of supporting members 21 are erected on the carriage 7 at an interval with than axial direction width of the coils 15 loaded on the lifter 17 oscillatably in the axial direction of the coil, and hydraulic cylinders 22 to oscillate these supporting members are provided. Clamping members 26 to clamp both edges in the axial direction of the coil is provided retractably at the upper end parts of the supporting members 21, and hydraulic cylinders 24 to extend/ retract these clamping members are provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
