FIXING AGENT FOR PREVENTING FRAYING OF WOVEN GLASS FIBER CLOTH AND WOVEN GLASS FIBER CLOTH PRODUCED BY USING THE AGENT

PURPOSE:To provide a fixing agent for preventing the fraying of woven glass fiber cloth, capable of firmly bonding glass fibers with each other when applied to the cut end of a woven glass fiber cloth, free from the fraying of the edge warps and resistant to swelling with solvents used in thermosetting resin varnish. CONSTITUTION:The objective fixing agent for preventing the fraying of woven glass fiber cloth contains (A) a reaction product of an epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent of 150-1,000 and a molecular weight of 500-2,000 with a hydroxyl-containing amine compound and (B) an isocyanate-based curing agent as essential components.
