PURPOSE: To provide method and device for ice melting control by which ice generated by an ice heat accumulator can be melted effectively, the utility of the ice heat accumulator is improved, and water sending temperature can be maintained low. ;CONSTITUTION: In the title device for ice melting control for ice heat accumulator, a pipe group 2 in an ice heat accumulator 1 is imaginarily divided into a plurality of areas A (A₁ to A₆) in a top plan view. The device is provided with an ice thickness meter 8 mounted on a cooling pipe in each of the areas A, a stirred fluid jetting part 9 placed below the pipe group 2 in each of the areas A, a stirred fluid supply mechanism 11 connected to the jetting part 9, a control valve 12 interposed into a pipe passage connecting the jetting part 9 to the stirred fluid supply mechanism 11, and a controller 13 to control the control valve 12 in response to a detection result of the ice thickness meter 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
