SOUND RECORDING GUIDING METHOD FOR VOICE NARRATION

PURPOSE: To suppress the entire time of narration within the stipulated period of time by supplying character data to be the original of the narration to a voice synthesizer, calculating the uttering time of the respective character data, and teaching the speed of the narration by moving a character cursor corresponding to the uttering time. ;CONSTITUTION: In the case of sound recording voice narration in a computer system for sound recording and reproducing voice, the sentence of the narration is displayed on a display screen. At the time of time (t)=0, the character cursor 20a is positioned at a leading character. When the time t=t₁ elapses, the character cursor 20b is moved to the next character. At the time t=t₂, the character cursor 20c is moved to the next character. In such a manner, the character cursor is successively moved corresponding to the calculated time to the last character of the sentence. When a human reads the sentence towards a microphone matching with the movement of the character cursor, an uttering speed is adjusted and the narration ends within the stipulated period of time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
