PURPOSE: To provide a novel gene probe that can hybridize with amplified target products and can perform the amplification of the signal-incorporated target gene. ;CONSTITUTION: This is a chemiluminescent labeled gene probe of the formula (R¹⁴ is H, hydroxyl or the like; A¹-A⁶ are each independently acridinium derivative; B is bases other than uracil which are generally used in the nucleotide chemistry; M is oxy or methylene; U is oxy or imino or the like; V is hydroxy or the like; W is oxo or the like; X is oxy or the like; Y is oxy or the like; Z¹-Z⁵ are independently a 1-30C alkyl, a 6-30C aryl, or the like; 00' is 0, 1; at least one of xo, yo, xo' and yo' is another 0, 1, as long as at least one of them is not 0; p' is an integer of 1-100; the bracket of p' indicates 2'- or 3'-position). This fluorescent gene probe is prepared by allowing the free amino group in the oligonucleotide synthesized through the solid phase process to react via hydroxysuccinimide ester with an activated chemiluminescent acridinium derivatives.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
