RESIN COVERING TYPE PIPING INSIDE REPAIRING METHOD FOR BRANCH PIPE JOINTING PART AND DEVICE THEREFOR, AND BRANCH JOINTING PART REPAIR MATERIAL

PURPOSE: To attain complete and prompt repair by winding a repairing material provided with a mat type deformed area around a rubber tubular body which is fitted onto the cylindrical body of a repairing device which is made to passed through a pipeline, and deforming the repairing material through the expansion of the rubber tubular body at a branch pipe connection part to be repaired. ;CONSTITUTION: In the repairing work of the branch pipe connection part of a pipeline inner wall, a mat type repairing material M is wound around the outer periphery of a rubber tubular body 5 fitted onto the cylindrical body 1 of a repairing device, and the repairing device is drawn in a pipeline 13 to be moved to a failed position by tractive operation through a wire. The pipeline inner wall is monitored by a monitor television set whose TV camera forms images to control tractive operation. The TV camera 26 is stored in a branch pipe 25 to detect a deformed area 20 formed at the repairing material M and rotate the cylindrical body 1 so as to obtain such a position as the area 20 faces the branch pipe 25. Pressurized air is supplied to the repairing device, and the deformed area 20 is bent through the expansion of the rubber tubular body 5, thus completing the repairing work of the branch pipe connection part by hardening the repairing material M.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
