PURPOSE: To prevent the diffusion and penetration of sample liquid into the inside of an electrode by forming a film containing alkyl phosphate on the sample attaching surface of the sample electrode, applying the sample liquid on the surface, and attaching a solid sample on the surface of the film. ;CONSTITUTION: A carbon electrode 1 has a sample attaching surface 3a at an inverted conical recess part, which is formed at an edge 3a. A film 3b containing alkyl phosphate, e.g. tri-n-butylphosphate, is formed at the surface. At first, applying liquid containing the alkyl phosphate is prepared and applied on the attaching surface 3a by using a coater and the like. The applied surface is dried with a dryer and the like. The sample liquid containing the minute amount of component incorporating uranium dioxide is applied on the surface of the film 3b and dried with a drying device. Thus, the diffusion and penetration of the sample into the inside of the electrode 1 is prevented, and the amount of the loss of the sample can be reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
