METHOD FOR JUDGING RESTRICTED AMINO ACID AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING FEED FOR LACTATING ANIMAL WITH THIS METHOD

PURPOSE:To provide the method useful for judging the restricted amino acid or deficient amino acid of a lactating animal, and to provide the method for producing a feed for the lactating animal on the basis of the judgment data. CONSTITUTION:The values of E for respective amino acids are compared with each other to judge a restriction amino acid and a deficient amino acid, and on the basis of the data,the restriction amino acid is added to a feed. The values of the E is obtained by an equation: E=(C/D)/(A/B) (A is the concentration of an amino acid in a serum; B is an efficiency for taking the amino acid from blood in the cells of a mammary gland; C is the amount of the amino acid in the milk; D is an efficiency for synthesizing milk protein from amino acids in the cells of the mammary gland E is the necessary amount of serum). The employment of the obtained data permits the rationalization of an administered feed and the designing of the feed to improve the increase in the volume of the milk secreted from a lactating animal and the quality of the milk.
