ROTATION MECHANISM APPLYING ATTRACTION AND THRUST

PURPOSE: To use attraction and thrust to provide a suitable rotational force to an article requiring a comparatively small power by meshing a main rotor and a cooperative rotor with each other via gears, and using attraction and repulsion of each magnet to perform relatively rotational movement. ;CONSTITUTION: A rotation mechanism of the present invention applying attraction and thrust is constructed such that a main rotor 40 and a cooperative rotor 41 are meshed with each other via gears fixed on mandrels, respectively, thus the rotors carry out relatively rotational movement in directions opposite to each other. Specifically, a plurality of magnets 42, 43 are attached to an outer periphery of each of the two rotors 40, 41, and the rotors 40, 41 are rotated relatively by employing attraction and thrust of the magnets. In this case, the two rotors 40, 41 have the same structure, for example, the main rotor 40 has one mandrel 61 and a plurality of magnets 63 fixed to a magnet fixing paste 60, and to the outside thereof, a outer edge covering 64 and a plurality of covers 65, 66 are attached, and a gear 67 is disposed at a lower end of the mandrel 61.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
