PURPOSE: To obtain the firm empty comb having a specific structure, capable of storing much honey and hardly giving feeling of foreign matter to bees. ;CONSTITUTION: The objective empty comb is obtained by constructing nest- shaped cores 1 obtained by horizontally and vertically providing a number of slantly upward hexagonal tubular bodies in rows in bee's nest like state on both faces of a nest substrate 4 from a resin or metallic mesh material or a perforated plate and applying melted beewax to this nest-shaped cores 1 and entwining the beewax round the mesh to form nests and fitting these resultant empty nests to a nest frame 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
