PURPOSE: To provide a compressor for a Stirling refrigerator which is reduced in size through reduction of overall length. ;CONSTITUTION: A compressor for a linear motor type Stirling refrigerator comprises a fixed part 2, a compression chamber 16 formed in the fixed part, a piston 14 to compress gas in a compression chamber and a spring 32 having one end supported to a piston and the other end extended to the compression stroke side and supported to the fixed part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
