PREPARATION OF FREEZE-DRIED AGENT AND VACUUM FREEZE-DRIER

PURPOSE: To provide a method and a vacuum system which can carry out the operations of the processes from drying to air-tight sealing in production of medicines such as therapeutic agents and reagents (for clinical testing) through freeze-drying without manual operations. ;CONSTITUTION: Molded plastic having a plurality of wells is used and the wells are filled with a preparation solution to be freeze-dried. Then, the plastic is subjected to freeze-drying under vacuum in the vessel 1 which can effect vacuum-evacuation. Then, at this place, a sealing film having gas barrier properties and hot melt adhesion properties is heat-adhered to the upper surface of the plastic in an inert atmosphere to effect air-tight sealing. The vacuum system is provided inside with a sealing plate equipped with the cooling means and the heating means for the plastic so that they can work interlockingly.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
