PISTON TYPE CONSTANT AMOUNT LIQUID FILLING MACHINE

PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of a piston type constant amount liquid filling machine in order to reduce the number of the part items attain the liquid filling operation on a no-bottle, no-filling basis. ;CONSTITUTION: A cylinder 2 is provided to force out liquid into a filling nozzle after a predetermined amount of the liquid has been drawn in from a liquid tank by the reciprocal movement of a piston 8. First and second check valves 12 and 16 are provided between the liquid tank and the cylinder and between the cylinder and the filling nozzle, respectively. A valve regulating means 48 is provided to keep the first check valve open, while the second check valve is closed. At the time of normal liquid filling, the first check valve is opened and the second check valve is closed to draw the liquid in the cylinder and thereafter the first check valve is closed and the second check valve is opened to fill the liquid. At the time of no-bottle liquid filling, the second check valve is closed and the first check valve is opened, thereby allowing the liquid drawn in the cylinder to flow back into the liquid tank.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
