PURPOSE: To provide a Cu-Fe alloy for welding electrode and soldering iron tip, having high electric conductivity and excellent, particularly, in molten metal corrosion resistance. ;CONSTITUTION: This alloy is an alloy having a composition consisting of, by weight, 5-30% Fe, 0.0005-1.0% Co, 0.005-3.5% Ti, 0.5-10% Cr, 0.001-1.5% Mo, and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities. The alloy is melted, cast, and subjected to solution heat treatment at 700-1000°C, followed by aging treatment at 300-650°C for 100-1000min.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
