PURPOSE: To enhance thermal efficiency in a plant and enable the establishment by self-operation of a gas turbine to be established even at the time of the partial load operation of a pressurized fluidized bed combined plant. ;CONSTITUTION: When an exhaust gas temperature in a pressurized fluidized bed boiler 4 is decreased during a partial load operation in a plant, secondary fuel and secondary air are fed into a secondary combustion section 32 provided above a primary combustion section 31 in the pressurized fluidized bed boiler to heat the exhaust gas from the primary combustion section to a high temperature by combustion in the secondary combustion section, and the resultant high-temperature exhaust gas is introduced into a gas turbine 2. This method enhances thermal efficiency in a plant during its partial load operation and enables self-operation of a gas turbine to be established.
