ASSEMBLED MACHINE OF FULLY AUTOMATIC INTERMITTENT AERATION FOR EFFECTING AERATION AND DISCHARGE

PURPOSE:To reduce troubles and maintenance and to treat excessive sludge under optimum conditions according to a treatment process by simplifying the combination of machines for controlling aeration time by detecting settling velocity of sludge by means of a light sensor in a batch type intermittent aeration method wherein organic contaminants, nitrogen, and phosphorus are removed from waste water at high efficiency. CONSTITUTION:There are provided an assembled machine which is supported by a plurality of floats 1 each having therein a water chamber able to introduce and discharge water (treatment) and which effects surface aeration and cleaning of projecting and receiving surfaces of a light sensor by means of a surface aeration machine 2 in its floating state and effects discharge of supernatant water in its submerged state, and an excessive sludge concentrating device wherein sludge containing a relatively large number of filiform bacteria, as specific characters of a batch type activated sludge process, is filtered and concentrated by means of bundles of monofilament fibers.
