V-SHAPED BENDER FOR PRESS AND METHOD FOR V-SHAPED BENDING

PURPOSE: To provide a V-shaped bender for a press and a V-shaped bending method by which products are obtained without causing much slippage between two layered sheet, grazing or thinning of bending corners. ;CONSTITUTION: The V-shaped bender for a press is provided with rotary die holding blocks 22, 22, a rotary die holder 23 which is supported freely movably between the blocks, a pair of rotary dies 24, 24 supported by the rotary die holder 23, a back pressure adding knockout 25, and a bending punch 26. In pressing, a sheet material is set on the rotary dies 24, 24 and the back pressure adding knockout 25; and the bending punch 26 is lowered. Thus, the whole surface on both sides of the bent corner of the sheet material is pulled in from the outside into the bending direction by the rotating rotary dies 24, 24, and simultaneously, the bent corner is pressed from the outside by the back pressure adding knockout 25 to perform the bending.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
