PURPOSE: To erect a long span girder in an erecting area within a short time without temporarily stopping function of an existing installation. ;CONSTITUTION: In erecting a long span girder 11 in a location above such existing installation as a roadway, a girder manufacturing area 1 is provided in a location apart from an erecting area 2 where the long span girder 11 is to be erected. The area between the girder manufacturing area 1 and the erecting area 2 is made a conveying area 3 by connecting both areas 1, 2 with plurality of line of rails 5, 6 of identical space between the lines and the long span girder 11 is erected on the rails after assemblying them in girder manufacturing area 1. Next, the long span girder 11, passing through the conveying area 3, is moved to the erecting area 2 on the rails and erected in the erecting area 2 by means of securing it to a fixture on the ground.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
