METHOD FOR GENERATING FREQUENCY MODULATION SIGNAL AND FREQUENCY MODULATION SIGNAL GENERATOR

PURPOSE: To prevent disturbance in the amplitude often caused in a frequency modulation signal obtained by using an optional waveform generator. ;CONSTITUTION: A sampling point to each of all sinusoidal waves included in a desired frequency modulation signal 10 is selected so that a maximum value and a minimum value of the sinusoidal waves are included and the same position is obtained for any sinusoidal wave. The sampling points requiring a calculation are sampling points 50-53 only included in one period of a sinusoidal wave independently of the period of the sinusoidal waves. Numerical data of the sampling points are calculated by an arithmetic operation section 1 and stored in a memory section 2. A clock signal whose period is changed is generated corresponding to the period of the sinusoidal waves by a clock period control section 7 and a clock signal generating section 3 and the numerical data stored in the memory section 2 are fed to a D/A converter 4 based on the clock signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
