PURPOSE: To prevent a shadow by the sunlight from falling on the tile wall surface. ;CONSTITUTION: The front face of a backing plate 40 for tile construction is provided with tile fastening protruding parts 42 vertically in many stages. The, surface of the tile construction backing plate 40 lower than the lowest stage protruding part 42 is retreated in comparison to the surface of the tile construction backing plate 40 between the vertically adjacent protruding parts 42, 42, and it is desirable to retreat this surface by about 0.5-3mm, especially about 0.5-1mm. With the use of this tile construction backing plate 40, the lowest stage tile 48 (48A) of the upper tile construction backing plate 40 (40A) is placed in the overhanging position so as to be retreated from the uppermost stage tile 48 (48B) of the lower tile construction backing plate (40B).
