ALPINE SKI BOOT EQUIPPED WITH BOOT BARREL BENDING ADJUSTMENT DEVICE WITH CURSOR

PURPOSE: To provide a ski boot, which may vary a forward leaning angle of the barrel against the shell's lower part of the boot by installing a bending control device to control backward-forward bending of the barrel at the shell's lower part where the barrel is hinged to. ;CONSTITUTION: A ski boot 1 includes a shell's lower part 2, which is equipped with a boot sole 3. A boot barrel part 4 is mounted on and hinged to the lower part 2 by a rivet for hinge connecting on the lower part 2. The ski boot includes a bending control device 6 for the backward forward bending barrel part 4. The bending control device 6 is composed of a cross section wise position adjustable cursor 7 to delimit a firm fulcrum, which has a part movability, in between the forward lower hem of the hinged boot barrel 4 and a fixing part 9 of the shell's lower part 2. The cursor 7 for supporting the bending control device 6 of the barrel part 4 may shift in translatory on a guide rail 10 made one- bodied with the shell's lower part 2. The cursor 7 is also composed of a sliding part, which is positioned and extended approximately parallel with at least a part of the forward lower hem 8 of the barrel 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
