NEURAL NETWORK USING CHAOS OSCILLATOR COUPLING SYSTEM AS ELEMENT

PURPOSE:To attain rapid and high level information processing by simultaneously and determinatively changing all elements. CONSTITUTION:A neural network is constituted by combining plural elements each of which is coupled with plural chaos oscillators. Although no probability process such as the generation of a random number is used, functions similar to that of a Boltzmann machine can be obtained by using the chaos oscillators. Consequently graphic recognition or an optimizing problem, etc., causing the enormous increase of the number of combinations which is a weak point of a convensional electronic computer can rapidly be solved in parallelly dispersed processing of high level.
