DIRECT-ACTING/ROTATION TRANSDUCING TYPE POSITIONING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To reduce stroke of a servo truck by reducing error of a write head which is generated based on accuracy of positioning control. ;CONSTITUTION: A connection member 26 is rotatably supported to a movable member 30a of a rotational part driving motor 30 which is linearly moved, through a rolling bearing 36. An end of the connection member 26 is slidably supported by means of an air slider 38 installed on a rotational member 40 fixed to a spindle 42 which is rotatably supported by means of an air bearing. The rotational member 40 is rotated by driving the rotational member driving motor 30 through the connection member 2. A rotary arm 7 is pressed and moved by means of an engagement pin 18 fixed to the rotational member 40. A write head 9 fixed to the rotational member 40 is moved on a magnetic disc 6, so that the write head 9 is positioned with high accuracy by drivingly controlling the rotational part driving motor 30 with high accuracy.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
