PURPOSE: To reduce the molding shrinkage and impart excellent flame retardancy by incorporating inorganic fibers, a halogenated flame retardant, antimony trioxide, a crosslinking aid and a specified thiophosphite each in a specified amount into a polyolefin resin. ;CONSTITUTION: This polyolefin resin composition is obtained by mixing 5-30wt.% rock wool and/or glass fibers, 5-25wt.% halogenated flame retardant (e.g. hexabromobenzene), antimony trioxide in an amount of 50-10wt.% based on the flame retardant, 0.5-5wt.% crosslinking aid (e.g. triallyl isocyanurate), 0.05-1wt.% thiophosphite of formula I, II, III or IV (wherein R1 is 6C or higher alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl; R2 is SR'2 or R'2; R3 is SR'3 or R'3; R'2 and R'3 are each 6C or higher alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl; X is (CH2)n, (CH2)n-O-(CH2)m, etc.; and (n) and (m) are each 2 to 6), and the balance of a polyolefin resin (100wt.% in total).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
