PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus useful for high-speed offset printing and equip with a light source for drying/curing after applying an ink containing an amine component comprising at least two different amines and a photoinitiator to a carrier. ;CONSTITUTION: This apparatus is equipped with a radiation source for promoting drying/curing of an ink applied to a carrier, especially to a print material in offset printing, wherein the ink is prepared by blending an amine component comprising at least two different amines and a photoinitiator component. At least one of the amine components in the above-mentioned ink is preferably a tertiary amine, and the photoinitiator is preferably 2-methyl-1-[4-(methylthio)- phenyl]-2-morpholino-propanone-1. Furthermore, the radiation source for the apparatus is preferably an excimer light source which irradiates ultraviolet radiation with a wavelength of from 300 to 320 nm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
