PURPOSE: To manufacture a cooling fan rotor simply and low costly for a rotating electrical machine such as alternator for automotive vehicles, that is light in weight, has good work efficiency and has less noise. ;CONSTITUTION: A method of making cooling fan rotor 19 equipped with n ventilating blades 18 for a rotating electrical machine includes the processes as a process of forming an elongated metal strip 10; a process of dividing the metal strip 10 into 2n surface portions comprising a first surface portions 11 and a second surface portions 12 respectively in generally quadrilateral shape; and a process of bending the second quadrilateral surface portions 12 about its median line 13 that dimidiates the intersecting angle E of two side edges 22 of the second surface portions 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
