VENTILATING AND COOLING SYSTEM IN SOUNDPROOFING TYPE ENGINE GENERATOR

PURPOSE: To improve the extent of cooling performance by ventilating both cooling air for an engine and that for a generator individually. ;CONSTITUTION: In a soundproof case 1, an inner ventilating type generator 3 is connected to the rear of a suction forcedly air-cooled engine 2 and set up therein. An engine storage space 20 housing the engine 2 and a generator storage space 30 housing the generator 3 are partitioned off by a partition wall 11 in a state of ventilation interrupted. In succession, an engine cooling air inlet 12 and an engine cooling air outlet 13 are interconnected to this engine storage space 20, and with a blast action in an engine cooling fan 5, cooling air is passed through a cylinder block 22 of an engine body 21, a cylinder head 23, an air suction case 4 and a fan case 6 in order. Likewise, a generator cooling air inlet 14 and a generator cooling air outlet 15 are interconnected to the generator storage space 30, and the cooling air is passed through an air inlet 9 of a generator case 7, generator parts 31 and an air outlet 10 in order by a blast action in a generator cooling fan 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
