CALIBRATING DEVICE AND CALIBRATING METHOD FOR RADIATION THERMOMETER

PURPOSE: To provide a simple calibrating device and the calibrating method of a radiation thermometer using an electric lamp as a calibrating light source and capable making a stable and precise calibrating action over a long period. ;CONSTITUTION: This calibrating device of a radiation thermometer is constituted of a heating electric lamp 1 connected to a thyristor 2, an integrating sphere 3 for diffusing and reflecting the light of the heating electric lamp 1, a control sensor 4 for receiving the emitted light energy from the integrating sphere 3 and converting it into the control signal, and a computer 5 for receiving the signal from the control sensor 4 and outputting the control current adjusting the light quantity of the electric lamp 1 to the thyristor 2.
