MEASURED VALUE CORRECTING MECHANISM FOR USE WITH TOWN GAS CALORIMETER USING CORRELATION BETWEEN CONCENTRATION AND QUANTITY OF HEAT

PURPOSE: To compensate for errors in measurements caused by hydrogen gas contamination in a town gas calorimeter which can perform precise measurements of quantities of heat through simple constitution by use of the correlation between the quantity of heat generated and gas concentration. ;CONSTITUTION: A hydrogen gas concentration measuring instrument 14 is provided in the measuring line 1 for town gas to be measured of a calorimeter which uses the correlation between concentration and the quantity of heat, and a multiplier 15 for multiplying a hydrogen gas concentration output from the hydrogen gas concentration measuring instrument by a first constant, an adder 15 for adding the output of the multiplier to a second constant, and a subtracter 15 for subtracting the output of the quantity of heat from the output of the adder are provided, the output of the subtracter serving as the corrected output of the quantity of heat.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
