PURPOSE:To make it possible for an operator to discriminate easily by classifying alarm display windows into the ones for a group of alarms indicating abnormality and the ones for a group of alarms indicating states of operations of a system. CONSTITUTION:An alarm (ANN) display panel 10 installed in a main control room 11 is divided roughly into an alarm display part 16 indicating abnormality of a plant and the like and an alarm display part 17 indicating states of operations of a system. On the field side of a nuclear power plant, on the other hand, a system controller 20 is provided so that it corresponds to each system, and a process measurement signal of each system is taken in as a discrete alarm signal. When a process value obtained by processing this signal exceeds an ANN set value stored in the controller 20, a digitized ANN signal is inputted to an ANN controller 22 and others through a transmission network 21. The controller 22 processes ANN signals logically, collecting them, putting them together and classifying them into a group of alarms indicating abnormality of the plant and a group of alarms indicating states of operations of the system. The classified ANN signals are sent to the display parts 16 and 17 of the display panel 10 and thereby ANN windows needed are lighted and made to display.
