LIGHTWEIGHT BANKING MIXTURE FOR TRACK, LIGHTWEIGHT EMBANKMENT FOR TRACK, AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To construct an embankment for track efficiently even on a soft ground by erecting side walls on either side of a track, filling lightweight cellular mortar which is composed of mineral fine powder and mixed at a predetermined ratio into between said walls, and solidifying it. ;CONSTITUTION: Side walls 21 comprising concrete boards etc., are erected on either side of a site, where a track 27 is laid, and lightweight cellular mortar prepared by adding a foaming agent to a mixture of 10 pts.wt. hydraulic material, 10-50 pts.wt. mineral fine powder, and 10-35 pts.wt. water is filled into between the side walls 21. And, if required, a tie rod 22 is provided to pull the walls 21. Next, a floor board 23, ballast 24, sleeper 25, and rails 26 are laid down on an embankment 20 comprising solidified lightweight cellular mortar. Thus a track 27 is formed without forming a slope on the embankment 20. As a result, the track can be constructed efficiently even on a soft ground.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
