PURPOSE: To improve efficiency as well as obtain a high temp. water by a method wherein the water from sewerage and rivers is used as a low temp. driving heat source for an evaporator, an exhaust heat not below a specific temp. is used as a high temp. driving heat source for a generator, a two stage absorbing cycle operation is performed upon heating operation and a single utility cycle operation is performed upon cooling operation. ;CONSTITUTION: In heating cycle, water is supplied from a low temp. driving heat source line 19 into an evaporator 1 and from high temp. driving heat source lines 20 into generators 3 and 5. Warm water is obtained from an extracting line 21 passing through absorbers 2 and 4 and a condenser 6 arranged thereon in a straight line in that order, absorption heat is obtained from the absorbers 2 and 4 and condensation heat is obtained from the condenser 6. At this time, the exhaust heat having a temp. of at least 75°C is used as the high temp. driving heat source to heat the water to a temp. of at least 50°C to attain a required C.O.P. of 1.35. In cooling cycle, the water is supplied into the low temp. driving heat source line 21 passing through the absorber 2 and the condenser 6 in that order and used as cooling water and the water is supplied from the high temp. driving heat source line 20 into the generator 5. The water is cooled to a required temp. by the evaporating heat from the evaporator 1 and the resulting cooled water is obtained from a cold water extracting line 19.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
